FRATERNAL
A PLAY BY JAKE STEWART
DIRECTED BY JAKE STEWART
SYNOPSIS

Our production of 'Fraternal' played at The Bluestone Church Arts Space in Footscray.

It was part of the 2016 Midsumma Festival.

The season ran from January 22 'til February 5.

Darcy and Kent are brothers. You could say they’re best friends, but that’s kinda lame, so let’s not say that, but they’re brothers, so yeah, they’re close.

And they live together in a not-overwhelmingly-tedious section of suburbia in a little brick apartment, which is an okay size and the neighbours are fine and no one’s been stabbed in the footy oval down the street in years so you can confidently go jogging like, whenever, which is great.

If you like jogging. And your house is like, around there, too.

And they’ve got a sister, she’s the middle child, her name’s Imogen, but she doesn’t live with them. And she’s pretty harmless, she wants to be an actor.

But yeah, Darcy and Kent are close.

Some would say too close.

I mean, even you might say that.
